This story means so much to me. While it’s a romance, it’s also a story about grief, joy, and everything in between. It’s about how you can still find a path to joy even through your darkest moments and the people who will love you at every step of the journey. It’s about inspiration in the places and people that surround us. It’s about choosing a life you want, no matter how loss and grief warp the path. It’s about falling in love, making art, seagulls, gardening, and mailmen. It’s about how love shapes us as much as the things that hurt us. It’s about how we all deserve a happily ever after, no matter what we’ve gone through.
It’s set in a shared world with so many other amazing authors, and I’m honored to bring Brinn and Isaac to Calysto’s Cove. What I love about Calysto’s Cove the most is the diversity in the stories, from second chance to new love, from paranormal to contemporary (there’s even a teeny tiny hint of magic in mine, can you find it?), it is so magical.
